Nicky Morgan won the 2015 General Election with 25762 votes with an increased majority of 9183 up from 3744 an increase of 7.9%. She gained 49.6% of the vote from a turnout of 71.6% of the electorate.
She is also the Secretary of State for Education and is part of an all Conservative Government for the first time in 18 years.
Now that the dust has settled from General Election, I just wanted to say a massive thank you for re-electing me as Loughborough's Member of Parliament. It is a huge honour to represent this wonderful constituency, and I will continue to work hard for you as your public servant.
Over the next five years I will continue to be Loughborough's voice in Westminster and fight for you in Parliament. I have been overwhelmed by the hundreds of messages of support from local residents. I look forward to working with you over the next 5 years and please do contact me or my team if you are in need of assistance – you can e-mail me at firstname.lastname@example.org or call 01509 262723.
Thank you once again.
With best wishes,
The Rt Hon Nicky Morgan MP
